These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of shxdowfoxstudios.com (the “Website”) and your purchases from Shxdow Fox Studios Inc. (“Shxdow Fox Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

We sell books in three formats: eBooks (digital downloads), paperbacks, and hardcovers. Descriptions, images, and format details are shown on each product page. We try to be accurate, but small differences in color or appearance between a screen and a printed book can occur.
We currently sell and ship only to addresses in the following countries:
We cannot accept orders for delivery anywhere else. Ebooks are delivered electronically, but they are also sold only to customers in the countries above. If we discover an order placed for delivery outside these countries, we may cancel it and refund you in full.
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons such as pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, unavailability, or an address outside our shipping countries. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
Our paperbacks and hardcovers are printed on demand by a third-party printer, Lulu.com, only after you order. Because each copy is produced individually, the following applies:

Prices are shown in USD and may change at any time; the price at the time you place your order applies. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. By paying, you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method.
Depending on your country, your order may be subject to VAT, sales tax, or other taxes. Where applicable, these taxes are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Any customs duties or import fees charged by the authorities or carrier of your country upon delivery, if they apply, are not included in the price and are the responsibility of the customer.
When you buy an eBook, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and read it for your own private use. You may not copy, resell, upload, distribute, or publicly display the eBook, or remove any copyright notices. The eBook is licensed to you, not sold. Withdrawal and refund rules for digital products are in our Return and Refund Policy.
All content on the Website and in our books, including text, artwork, cover designs, logos, and layout, is owned by Shxdow Fox Studios Inc. or its authors and licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our written permission, except for brief quotations permitted by law (such as fair use in the United States).

The Website and our products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shxdow Fox Studios Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other matter where exclusion is not permitted. Nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence, including in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada.
The Website may link to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, or Canada (excluding Quebec), you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country (or, in Canada, your province) of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your country where the law allows.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Website with a new effective date. Orders are governed by the Terms in effect when the order was placed.
